President Catherine Nasmith reports on the past year's activities

Architectural Conservancy Ontario held its 83rd Annual General Meeting at Gallery Stratford on May 15th, 2016, immediately following the 2016 Ontario Heritage Conference.  Approximately sixty people attended.


The past year was an extremely productive one and its highlights are outlined in Catherine's report to the AGM.  They include, in addition to many other activities,


  • Completion of an Operations Review process with TCI Management Consultants;

  • Extending our website by

    • adding a Resources Section

    • adding capacity to join, renew and donate on line; and

    • reskinning our website to reflect our branding;

  • Developing an RFP for further upgrading of our website;

  • Responding to the Ontario Cultural Strategy and organizing an MPP day at Queen’s Park to meet with MPPs;

  • Holding our annual Awards Dinner;

  • Publication of two outstanding issues of our magazine ACORN and reinstating our electronic newsletter, ACORN in a Nutshell.
