WILLIAM COUKELL NEW CHIEF OPERATING OFFICER FOR ACO
October 6, 2016
ACO is pleased to announce that Will Coukell will be joining the team at provincial office, filling the newly created position of Chief Operating Officer. The position to co-ordinate the work of staff and volunteers was created following an operational review that recommended separating day to day management of the charity from program operation and public education which tend to be more crisis driven. Will’s first priority will be streamlining our financial reporting and budgeting, as well as consolidating operating policies.
Will brings to ACO a smile and a wealth of experience in the Not for Profit sector, working with volunteers and professionals in many organizations. He was most recently Executive Director of Volunteer Ottawa, and has worked in management and advocacy for healthcare, housing, HIV/AIDs and GBLTQ rights. He owns two heritage properties, one in Toronto and the other near Brockville.
